On 29th September a focus group was held at the Università degli studi di Verona with the participation of 5 students from bachelor student, Learning Sciences; master student, Emergency Governance; bachelor student, Humanities; master student, Learning Sciences; bachelor student, Mathematics.

On Thursday 19 October, an online Diagnostic Seminar was held with the participation of university teachers and undergraduate students from different fields of knowledge from the University of Santiago de Compostela, the University of Galway and the Università degli studi di Verona. Migrants/refugees were also be involved. This seminar, coordinated by ACCEM and Glocal Factory, aimed to identify and to analyse the needs of migrants/refugees by providing information from different perspectives.

At the end of the Basic training course in SL(m) for undergraduate students, we wanted to evaluate its development and the satisfaction of the participants. Therefore, on Tuesday 17 October, a focus group was held at the Faculty of Education of the University of Santiago de Compostela, with the participation of 8 students who had taken part in this course. The aim of this focus group was to identify the perceptions, feelings and ways of thinking of the participants in the SL(M) training course.

In the framework of the XLI Inter-University Seminar on Theory of Education (SITE), professors from the University of Santiago de Compostela, Mar Lorenzo Moledo and Jesús García Álvarez, will present the paper “Building bridges for the inclusion of migrants/refugees from the theory of education“, derived from the Erasmus+ Project “Mobilising university-community resources through SL(M) for the inclusion of migrants/refugees”. This work has been published in the book “Educación. Encuentros y desencuentros”, published by the University of Jaén.
